Born on September 8, 1959, in the picturesque city of Eugene, Oregon, Eddie was the beloved son of James Edgar Anglin and Kathleen Corine Anglin. He was predeceased by his devoted parents, his dear sister Glenda Olsen, and his cherished nephews, Eric Perkins and Troy Harris, whose memories he held close to his heart.
Eddie's journey through life was marked by his unwavering dedication to family, work, and community. He was the anchor that kept family and friends grounded with his steady presence and warm spirit. Eddie found immense joy in being surrounded by his loved ones, sharing stories and laughter that would echo through generations.
For many years, Eddie served as a Quality Control Manager at Truss Joist, where he was respected for his integrity, hard work, and commitment to excellence. Beyond his professional achievements, Eddie was a man of varied passions. As an avid fisherman, he embraced every aspect of the sport, from the quiet serenity of casting a line in tranquil waters to the bustling energy of selling fishing gear, with proceeds benefitting his local youth group. His generous spirit was evident in every cast and every sale, reflecting his dedication to nurturing the future of his community.
Eddie was an active and devoted member of the Fern Ridge Faith Center in Veneta, Oregon, where he found solace, companionship, and purpose. His faith was a guiding light in his life, providing strength and comfort to both him and those around him.
Though we mourn the loss of Eddie, we celebrate the legacy he leaves behind. He is survived by his loving sisters, Kathy Sprenger and Janice Rintalin, along with a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and countless friends who had the privilege of knowing him.
