It is with profound sadness and heartfelt gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Eddie Mafnas at the age of 60. Eddie was born on May 22, 1965, in the lush and vibrant island of Guam. He departed this world on December 23, 2025, at Guam Memorial Hospital due to natural causes after a period of illness. Eddie was the beloved son of the late Maria and Santiago Mafnas. He was predeceased by his cherished parents, his grandson, Xanner Javon, and his dear sisters, Janet, Nancy, and Debbie. Eddie's journey on this earth was filled with the love of his devoted wife, Lillian Mafnas, who survives him alongside their beautiful family. His legacy lives on through his daughters and their spouses: Erica Lynn Senior and Dale Senior, Patty Lynn Aguero Camacho and Dennis Camacho, Frances Jolynn Pangelinan and Peter Pangelinan, and Cindy Leann Aguero and Clint Chistao. Eddie was a proud grandfather to a remarkable 18 grandchildren, whose lives he enriched with joy and wisdom. His grandchildren, alongside their spouses, include Iren and Justice Aguero, Ethan Aguero, Trevor and Kaweli Aguero, Ellian and Jean Castillo, Aubri Aguero and Marco Castillo, Jojo, Kekoa, Keanna, Jadien, Emmarie, Elijah, Brady, and Jackson. Eddie also leaves behind nine great-grandchildren who will carry forward his spirited legacy: Dionie, Devyne, Denahi, Paige, Leailyn, Thea, Travis, Eli, and Jaelani. His family was the light of his life, and his love for them was fierce and unwavering. A man of quiet strength, Eddie was known for his gentle spirit and unwavering dedication to those he loved. His presence was a source of comfort and joy, and his laughter was a melody that resonated with all who knew him. He was a beacon of kindness and exemplified the true meaning of family. Eddie embraced life's challenges with grace and resilience, a testament to his enduring faith and inner strength. Family and friends are invited to honor Eddie's life and legacy at a service to be held on January 9, 2026, at 9:00 AM. The service will take place at Our Lady of Peace, located in Windward Hills, Yona. It will be a time to reflect on the memories and celebrate the remarkable life Eddie led. The family of Eddie Mafnas extends their deepest gratitude to all friends and family for their unwavering support during this difficult time. Your kindness and prayers have been a source of comfort and strength. Eddie's legacy is one of love, compassion, and the unshakeable bonds of family.
