Born on August 21, 1964, in Durham, Eddie was the cherished son of Mary Reid and Tommy Henderson. Eddie's life was a testament to the power of kindness and the beauty of a generous spirit. Eddie was predeceased by his loving parents, Mary Reid and Tommy Henderson, as well as his brother Howard Reid and sister Elaine Reid. He is survived by his devoted family who will continue to honor his legacy: sisters Evelyn Trice, Melea Currie, Linda Reid, and Shiakira Walker; sister-in-law Angie Reid; brother Clayton Reid and his wife Deborah; two aunts, Patsy Owen’s and Gail Worthy; uncle Bernard White, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins who adored him deeply. Eddie possessed an extraordinary gift for drawing, a talent that he used not only to create beautiful works of art but also to bring joy to those around him. His drawings were a reflection of his gentle soul and the joy he found in the simple moments of life. Beyond his artistic abilities, Eddie was known for his unwavering kindness and his innate desire to help others.
