Eddie Hugh Kisselburg, born on July 11, 1943, in Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2026, after an extended illness, surrounded by the love of his family. Eddie was the beloved son of the late Edwin Murry Kisselburg and Bonnie Mae Baldridge Kisselburg and was preceded in death by his dear sister, Juanita B. Odom. His life was a testament to the power of love, dedication, and faith. Eddie's journey began in the heart of Ohio, where he developed a love for learning and adventure. He attended high school and college, laying the foundation for a life filled with achievement and purpose. In 1964, Eddie married the love of his life, Sandra Lynn, with whom he raised two wonderful children, Deborah and Scott. Their home was a sanctuary of laughter and love, echoing with the joyful noise of family gatherings and the cherished moments they shared. Eddie proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, a testament to his courage and commitment to the values he held dear. After his service, he embarked on a successful career as a project manager with Southern Bell and ATT, where he was respected not only for his skill and dedication but also for his ability to lead with kindness and integrity. Faith played a central role in Eddie's life. His close relationship with his Savior, Jesus Christ, guided him through life's challenges and joys, providing him with strength and peace. Eddie's faith was a beacon for his family and friends, inspiring those around him to lead lives of purpose and grace. Eddie's love for the great outdoors and traveling was infectious. He was an avid camper and fisherman, passions he lovingly passed down to his children and grandchildren. Eddie is survived by his devoted wife, Sandra, who stood by his side throughout their many adventures together. He leaves behind a loving legacy in his children, Edward Scott Kisselburg (Melissa) of Marietta, GA, and Deborah Diane Davis (Chuck) of Kennesaw, GA. His six cherished grandchildren—Megan Crume, Andrew and Jessica Davis, Matthew, Kathlyn, and Addison Kisselburg—were the pride and joy of his life, and he was a guiding light in their lives. Eddie's memory will forever be treasured by all who knew him. His life was a testament to the enduring power of love, faith, and family.
