November 20, 1964 — July 20, 2026

Eddie Bo, a cherished soul who brought warmth and love to all who knew him, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026, at the age of 61. Born on November 20, 1964, in Helena, Arkansas, Eddie was the beloved son of Jesse and Annie Bell James, who predeceased him along with his sister, Sherry Hampton, and his dear son, Edward "Bo" Jr. Eddie had a rare gift for turning strangers into family, a reflection of his boundless kindness and infectious spirit. His resilience was remarkable, overcoming life's challenges with grace and fortitude. Those who knew Eddie will forever remember his generous heart and unwavering love for those around him. In April of 2025, Eddie's life took a beautiful turn when he met Jo Lynn Grizzle. It was, as they both fondly recalled, love at first sight. Calling each other "My Beautiful Angel" and "My Prince," their bond only grew stronger with time. Though their wedding was just weeks away, their love will eternally endure, as they remain the loves of each other's lives. Eddie is survived by his devoted fiancée, Jo Lynn, and his loving children: Michael James, Matthew and his wife Laycee James, Fharran Johnson, Jessi and her spouse Katie Brown, Jacob and his wife Kailey Graves, and Noah and his wife Jaysa Graves. He was a proud grandfather to Siddaleigh, Braylon, Madison, Chelsea, Jesse, Gracie, Hadleigh, Waylynn, Kohen, Archer, Nicholas, Ethan, Maddie, Ava, Nova, Axel, Zaylee, Aria, and Amaya, who will all carry forward his legacy of love. Eddie is also survived by his sisters Linda, along with her husband Michael, and Loretta, as well as his brother Kenny and his wife Dorris. His extended family, including many nieces, nephews, and cousins, were all touched by his kindness and generosity. To honor Eddie Bo's wishes, a small private event will be held to honor his remarkable life. Eddie's family would like to extend a heartfelt message: "Eddie Bo will forever be in our hearts." His spirit will live on in the countless lives he touched, a testament to a life well lived and deeply loved.
