Earnest was the beloved son of Justice and Eugene Parker, who instilled in him values of integrity, compassion, and resilience. He was a younger brother to Joyce Parker and Eugene Parker II, all of whom preceded him in death, leaving behind cherished memories and the legacy of a loving family.
On November 23, 1962, Earnest embarked on a remarkable journey of love and partnership with his devoted wife, Marie Parker. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams. Their union was blessed with three wonderful children: Anthony, Christopher, and Judith, who were the pride and joy of Earnest's life. He was a loving and dedicated father, always present with guidance and support.
Earnest's heart was further filled with joy when he became a grandfather to six cherished grandchildren: Julian, Cara, Kristiana, Christopher Jr., Anthony Jr., and Paige. He cherished every moment spent with them, delighting in their achievements and offering wisdom and encouragement at every turn.
A man of boundless energy and talent, Earnest's life was a tapestry of passions and pursuits. He received his early education at Dunne Elementary School and Mendel Catholic High School, setting the foundation for a life of learning and professional achievement. His career began at the Federal Reserve Bank, where he demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence and integrity.
Earnest's competitive spirit shone brightly in his younger years as a passionate basketball player, an accomplished stepper, and an avid bowler. His charm, creativity, and love of life left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Whether on the court, the dance floor, or the bowling alley, Earnest's presence was always felt, and his joyful spirit was infectious.
Earnest leaves behind a legacy of love and a family who will continue to honor his memory. In addition to his wife, children, and grandchildren, he is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends, all of whom were touched by his kindness and warmth.
In accordance with Earnest's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor his life and bid him farewell. Though his physical presence will be deeply missed, his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those he loved.
Earnest's life was a testament to love, family, and the pursuit of one's passions. As we remember his warmth, his laughter, and his unwavering strength, we find comfort in knowing that he is now at peace, reunited with those who have gone before him. His memory will forever be a blessing to all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Earnest's memory to a charity supporting dementia research, honoring his fight and helping others in their journey.
