Earnest Carver
February 14, 2005 — February 14, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Earnest Carver, a beloved son and cherished friend, who left us on February 14, 2026. Born in the vibrant city of Chicago on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2005, Earnest blessed the world with his presence for 21 years to the day. Though his time with us was brief, his impact was profound and lasting.
Earnest was the treasured son of Earner Carver, who raised him with unwavering love and support. He is now reunited with his predeceased family member, Knee Carver, who preceded him in death. Although Earnest never married, he was deeply loved by all who knew him, and his memory will be cherished by many.
A passionate and skilled Overwatch player, Earnest spent countless hours immersed in the virtual world, where he was known for his quick reflexes and strategic mind. His love for gaming was more than a hobby; it was a testament to his ability to connect with people across the globe, forming friendships that transcended geographical boundaries.
Earnest was a proud member of both Knott and PEMCO, organizations where he found camaraderie and a sense of belonging. Though unemployed, his life was rich with the love and laughter he shared with others. Those who knew him will fondly remember his striking eyes and the unique way he carried himself, qualities that made him truly unforgettable.
A service to honor Earnest's life will be held on his birthday, February 14, 2026, at 3:00 PM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, located at 100 Knott Hall. Family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by Earnest are invited to attend and celebrate the joy he brought into the world.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Earnest's memory to PrismND, an organization close to his heart, reflecting his enduring spirit of generosity and compassion.
As we come together to remember Earnest, let us hold onto the special message from his family: "Forever in your hearts." May his legacy of kindness and love continue to inspire us all.
Rest in peace, dear Earnest. You will be missed, but never forgotten.
