Earline Denise Pledger
December 25, 1970 — May 2, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Earline Denise Pledger, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend. Born on December 25, 1970, in Chicago, Illinois, Earline graced this world with her presence until her peaceful passing on May 2, 2026. She was a Christmas gift to her family, and throughout her life, she continued to be a beacon of light and love to all who knew her.
Earline was the cherished daughter of Ethel Pledger and the late Earlsine Eatmon. Her childhood in Chicago was filled with the warmth and guidance of a loving family, which laid the foundation for her nurturing spirit. She attended Calumet High School, where she first discovered her passion for caring for others. Driven by this calling, she pursued further training as a caregiver at a CBRF program in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, dedicating her life to serving others with compassion and grace.
In 2000, Earline's life was transformed when she married her soulmate, Jarvis Norman. Together, they built a loving home and raised four beautiful children: Kaneshia Pledger, Jarvis Norman, and Jasmine Norman. Though she faced the heartbreak of losing her youngest son, Demaris Norman, Earline's resilience and unwavering faith guided her through the pain, allowing her to continue spreading love and joy to those around her.
Earline's career as a caregiver was much more than a job; it was her calling. Her nurturing spirit and selfless heart left a lasting impact on countless lives. She was known for her radiant, jovial personality, filling every room with laughter and light. Her voice was full, her laughter was infectious, and her presence was unforgettable.
Earline found immense joy in life's simple pleasures. She adored spending time with her six grandchildren—Kaiden Powell, Kelecia Triplett, Kason Triplett, Winter Norman, Aaliah Cunningham, and Benjamin Cunningham—each of whom was a testament to her enduring legacy of love. She had a remarkable talent for decorating and creating elegant floral arrangements, always adding beauty to the lives of those around her. Her passion for fashion, particularly her fondness for the color purple, reflected her vibrant and graceful spirit.
In addition to her children and grandchildren, Earline is survived by her devoted mother Ethel Pledger; her loving sisters Ann Christopher, Mandisa Upton (Joseph Upton), and Shanika Eatmon (Lawrence White); her brothers Marlon Pledger and Diante Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Earline's life will be celebrated at a service on May 16, 2026, at St. James Deliverance Church, located at 4131 N. Green Bay Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53209. The family expresses their sincere appreciation for the prayers, flowers, cards, love, and support received during this period of bereavement. God bless each of you.
In honoring Earline Denise Pledger, we remember a life filled with love, laughter, and boundless generosity. Her legacy will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
