Born on November 12, 1948, in the charming town of Newport, Rhode Island, Earl was a beacon of warmth and kindness throughout his 77 years of life. Earl was the cherished son of the late Catherine and Emmitt Wells, who instilled in him the values of hard work, integrity, and compassion. These principles guided Earl throughout his life and were reflected in the gentle and generous spirit he shared with everyone he met. In 1974, Earl embarked on a new chapter when he married the love of his life. Together, they moved to New Hampshire, where they nurtured a loving home and raised a family rooted in strength and unity. Their marriage, which spanned 32 beautiful years, was a testament to enduring love, even in the face of adversity, as they bravely faced his wife's long battle with cancer together. Earl's legacy is carried on by his devoted children: Linda, Richard and his wife Denise, Donald, and Michael and his wife Brenda. His life was further enriched by his beloved grandchildren, Katie, Jenny, Mindy, Mandy, Carly, Chris, Alex, and Daniel, who will forever cherish their grandfather's wisdom and warmth. Earl's lineage extends to his 23 great-grandchildren, each of whom he adored and who brought immense joy to his later years. Earl was predeceased by his parents, Catherine and Emmitt, his beloved son Kevin, and his precious grandson Ricky Jr. Though their absence is deeply felt, their memories remain a source of comfort and inspiration. Earl was a man of many passions, from his love of nature to his dedication to community service. He was a quiet yet strong presence, always offering a helping hand or a listening ear. Earl's life was a tapestry woven with acts of kindness, each thread a testament to his unwavering commitment to making the world a better place.
