Eleanor was the cherished daughter of Henry and Louise Miller, who instilled in her the values of kindness and perseverance that guided her throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert, with whom she shared a long and devoted marriage filled with joy and companionship. An inspiring educator, Eleanor dedicated her career to teaching elementary school, where her gentle spirit and patient guidance left a lasting impact on countless young minds. Her passion for nurturing extended beyond her students, as she generously mentored young teachers, sharing her wealth of knowledge and experience. Education was a lifelong pursuit for Eleanor, who studied education with a fervor that never waned. Her love for learning was evident in her extensive reading and the thoughtful discussions she enjoyed with friends and family alike. Eleanor was a devoted member of Grace Community Church, where her faith and compassion touched many lives. A memorial service to honor Eleanor's life will be held on June 10 at Grace Community Church in Portland. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the community library, a cause that was close to Eleanor's heart.
