It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Dwight Mojay, who left this world peacefully on August 20, 2026. Born on February 3, 1952, in Lafayette, Louisiana, Dwight lived a full and vibrant life dedicated to his family, friends, and community. Dwight was a man of immense character and warmth, known for his unwavering dedication to those he loved and the values he held dear. He was a devoted husband to Debra Ann Mojay, whose partnership and love were the cornerstones of his life. Together, they created a family filled with laughter, kindness, and shared adventures. Dwight's life was marked by both personal and professional achievements, yet his greatest joy came from being a father and grandfather. Though he was predeceased by his cherished wife, Mrs. Mojay, beloved child Nikki Mojay, and dear son Dwight Mojay Jr., his legacy lives on through his two grandchildren, who were his pride and joy. He found delight in watching them grow, play, and learn, always encouraging them to pursue their dreams with passion and integrity. Family and friends were the heart of Dwight's world. He was a guiding light to many, offering wisdom, support, and a listening ear whenever needed. His laughter was infectious, and his stories were legendary, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Dwight's life will be celebrated at a service on September 2, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Mountcastle Church, located at 4143 Dale Boulevard. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring his memory and the remarkable life he led. For those unable to attend in person, a livestream of the service will be available at www.mountcastle.net. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, in memory of Dwight Mojay. Through such gestures, Dwight's spirit of generosity and compassion can continue to touch lives. Dwight Mojay will be remembered as a devoted family man, a cherished friend, and a pillar in his community. His legacy of love, kindness, and integrity will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. We find comfort in knowing that he is reunited with those he loved dearly and that his spirit will continue to guide us in our own journeys.
