In Loving Memory of Dustin Taulbee It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dustin Taulbee, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. Born on November 15, 1986, in Lexington, Kentucky, Dustin departed this life on June 6, 2026, at the age of 39. His departure leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him. Dustin was the cherished son of B. Jane Eversole and the late Kenneth R. Taulbee Jr. He grew up amidst the rolling hills of Kentucky, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. His childhood was filled with adventures and laughter shared with his twin, Justin Taulbee, and his siblings Walter Gregory Boone, Anthony Ryan Boone, Kenny Taulbee, and Jonas Taulbee. A member of a large and loving family, Dustin is also survived by his maternal brothers Walter Gregory Boone (Kristen Boone) and Anthony Ryan Boone (Lindsey Boone). His legacy of kindness and joy is carried forward by his twelve nieces and nephews, three great-nephews, and two great-nieces, along with an extended family of many cousins and dear friends. Dustin was predeceased by his father, Kenneth R. Taulbee Jr., his maternal grandparents Clayton and Nettie Eversole, his Aunt Mary Lee Gibbons, his cousins Mary Gibbons and Daniel Eversole, and his step-brother Wesley Boone. Each of these losses shaped Dustin, and he carried their memories with him throughout his life. Dustin was a man of remarkable kindness, whose laughter could light up a room and whose compassion touched everyone he met. His love for his family was boundless, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Whether it was a family gathering or a simple get-together with friends, Dustin’s presence was a reminder of the joy in life’s simplest moments. A lover of nature and adventure, Dustin found peace in the great outdoors, often exploring the same trails his ancestors once walked. He was a man of many talents and passions, always eager to learn and share his knowledge with those around him. A service to celebrate Dustin's life will be held on June 11, 2026, at 10:00 PM at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, located at 463 E Main Street, Lexington, KY 40507. Friends and family are invited to gather and honor the memory of a man who gave so much love to the world during his time with us. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Dustin’s memory, as a way to continue his legacy of generosity and care for others. Though Dustin's time with us was far too short, his spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. He will be remembered for his gentle heart, his infectious smile, and the love he gave so freely. As we say goodbye, we hold onto the memories and the joy he brought into our lives. Rest in peace, dear Dustin. Your journey on this earth may have ended, but your spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved you.
