With heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the passing of Dustin Marshall Alderson, who left this world on June 8, 2026, at the age of 36. Born on September 21, 1989, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Dustin's journey was marked by laughter, kindness, and an unwavering love for his family and friends. He passed away surrounded by those he cherished most, a testament to the deep bonds he nurtured throughout his life. Dustin was the beloved son of Jana Cavness of Bentonville, Arkansas, and the late Marshall "Bud" Alderson. He is survived by his loving mother, his treasured daughter Averie Alderson, siblings Katrina, Robert, Jessica, and Jayme, and a large extended family including aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Each held a special place in his heart, especially his nieces and nephews, Stormi, Brooke, Colton, Briget, Trevor, Serenity, Aaron, Allison, Acin, Antonio, Alexanderia, Adelina, and Asher, who adored their Uncle Dustin. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his nephew Brandon Jr., and his father, Marshall “Bud” Alderson. A dedicated professional, Dustin spent many years in the hotel industry where his genuine enjoyment of the work shone through. His career later led him to successfully manage several storage building properties, a role he embraced with diligence and enthusiasm. Dustin was a man of many passions. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from fishing and camping to cooking and music. He was an avid reader, often found with a book in hand. Whether he was outdoors by the water or gathered around a kitchen table, Dustin's presence was a source of warmth and laughter, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. A celebration of Dustin's life will be held on June 13, 2026, at 6:00 PM at First Christian Church, located at 807 SE 14th St., Bentonville, AR, 72712. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Dustin are invited to gather in remembrance of his remarkable spirit. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Dustin's memory to a charitable cause close to their hearts.
