It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Drusilla Kay Carver, who left us on July 6, 2026, at the age of 61. Kay passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love.
Born on November 4, 1964, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Kay was the cherished daughter of James Carver and XXX. She is survived by her two sons; Josh (Kristian)Hill and Shawn Hill; siblings; Wanda(Kim) Goldsby, Doug Carver,nine grandchildren and one great-grandson. From an early age, she exuded a gentle kindness and a remarkable ability to nurture those around her, qualities that would define her throughout her life.
Drusilla's hands were rarely idle, as she spent countless hours immersed in sewing and knitting. Her creations were not just garments or blankets, but tokens of love crafted with care for those she held dear.
Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her hobbies, as Kay had an undeniable love for babysitting. The laughter of children and the joy of watching them grow brought her immense happiness. She was a guiding presence, a second Mamaw to many, and her home was a haven where young ones felt safe and cherished.
Kay's legacy is best seen in her family, who were the center of her world. She was a devoted mother, grandmother to nine wonderful grandchildren, and her first great-grandchild, they were her pride and joy. Her family was her heart's delight, and she delighted in every moment spent with them.
Kay's spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her. She leaves behind a family who will continue to honor her memory and cherish the love she gave so freely.
