Born on June 28, 1954, in Stuttgart, Arkansas, to parents J H (Jake) and Marie Cross, Doyle's life was marked by a deep devotion to family, a dedication to his community, and an unyielding kindness that touched all who knew him. Doyle was predeceased by his loving parents and his cherished son, Michael Chase Cross. Despite these profound losses, Doyle's spirit remained resilient, and he continued to be a source of strength and inspiration to his surviving family members and friends. He is survived by his devoted daughter, Amanda Denney of Hampton, Virginia, and his delightful granddaughter, Kennedy Grace DeLoach of Russellville, Kentucky. Doyle was also cherished by his sisters, Kay Lock (Billy) of Athens, Texas, and Sandi Holbert (Bill) of Stuttgart, Arkansas. His extended family, including numerous nieces and nephews, held a special place in his heart. Moreover, Doyle's life was enriched by the companionship of his beloved pet, "Big," whose presence brought him immense joy and comfort. Doyle's life was a testament to the values instilled in him by his parents. He was known for his unwavering integrity, his commitment to helping others, and his infectious laughter that could light up any room. His career was filled with accomplishments, yet it was his personal relationships that he treasured the most. Doyle's warmth and generosity left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. In his leisure time, Doyle enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, whether it was spending time with his family, engaging in spirited conversations with friends, or simply relaxing in the company of his adored pet. His love for his family, especially his granddaughter Kennedy, was evident in every aspect of his life, and he never missed an opportunity to express his pride in her achievements. While his passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, the memories of Doyle's kindness, humor, and love will remain in the hearts of those who knew him. His legacy will continue to live on through his family and the countless lives he touched.
