October 25, 1961 — June 15, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Douglas Teska, a beloved father, brother, and friend, who left this world on June 15, 2026, at the age of 64. Born on October 25, 1961, in Ontario, California, Doug was a spirited soul whose life was marked by adventure, love, and an unwavering zest for life. Despite battling heart problems, he lived each day with a resilience that inspired all who were fortunate to know him. Doug attended Chaffey High School, where he not only excelled academically but also formed lifelong friendships. His school years were a foundation for the adventurous life he led, one filled with the thrill of surfing the Pacific waves, the rush of snowboarding down powdery slopes, and the serenity found in camping under starlit skies. Doug's love for the outdoors was not just a hobby but a testament to his appreciation for the beauty and freedom the world has to offer. He is survived by his loving son and two devoted daughters, who were the pride and joy of his life. Doug cherished every moment spent with his children, imparting wisdom, sharing laughter, and creating memories that they will carry with them forever. His legacy also lives on through his three sisters, who remember him as a doting brother with a heart of gold and a spirit as untamed as the ocean waves he loved to surf. Although Doug did not have grandchildren, he often spoke of the joy he felt knowing that his children would carry forward the values of kindness, adventure, and love he held dear. His familial bonds were strong, and he was a pillar of strength and support for his family in times of need. The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to all those who have expressed their condolences and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, they kindly ask for donations to be made to a GoFundMe account established to support causes close to Doug's heart and to honor his memory by continuing the spirit of giving and community support that he embodied throughout his life. Doug's passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. As we say goodbye to Doug, we celebrate a life well-lived, a life that touched many, and a life that will continue to inspire us all to live with courage, kindness, and an unquenchable thirst for adventure. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the boundless beauty of the eternal skies.
