Dorothy Patricia Finne Reinold, fondly known as Patsy or Pat, passed away peacefully at home on October 11, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on December 3, 1947, in Memphis, Tennessee, Pat's life was a rich tapestry of love, laughter, and service that touched the hearts of everyone who knew her.
Pat was a proud Marine, joining the Corps right after high school. Her two years of service took her to the sunny shores of Hawaii and the bustling city of San Francisco, where she created memories she loved to share with her friends and family. Her stories of camaraderie and adventure were a testament to her vibrant spirit and enduring patriotism.
After her military service, Pat embarked on a career as a secretary, a role she performed with dedication and skill. Her professional life was marked by various adventures, each contributing to the tapestry of experiences that made her the remarkable woman she was.
In her personal life, Pat was known for her vivacious personality and infectious sense of humor. In her later years, she delighted in making others laugh, leaving a trail of joy wherever she went. Among her many hobbies, she found joy in reading, playing bingo, and engaging in spirited games of Mexican Train. However, her greatest happiness came from spending time with her four cherished grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
On November 10, 2012, Pat married Jerry W. Reinold, the love of her life. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter, creating a legacy of kindness and warmth that will be cherished by all who knew them.
Pat is survived by her beloved sister, Mary Loftin (Guy) of Olive Branch, and her sister Lorrie Finne of Memphis. She also leaves behind a loving extended family of nieces, nephews, their children, and her adored grandchildren, all of whom will carry forward her memory with love and admiration.
As we remember Pat, let us celebrate the joy she brought into our lives and the laughter she shared with so many. Her legacy of love, humor, and service will continue to inspire us all.
