Dorothy's formative years were spent in Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania, where she attended Pocono Mountain West High School. During her time there, Dorothy developed a love for learning and an insatiable curiosity about the world around her. Her intelligence and determination were evident in all she pursued, and she graduated with honors, leaving an indelible mark on her teachers and peers. Though she faced the challenges of living with lupus, Dorothy never allowed her condition to define her. She is survived by her devoted parents, Eugene Dozier and Linda Shaw, who provided her with unwavering support and unconditional love throughout her life. She was a cherished sister to her four brothers: Lamar Dozier, Eugene Robinson, Shamar Dozier, and Jamal Dozier. Their close-knit relationships were a source of immense joy and camaraderie for Dorothy, providing her with a lifelong network of love and support. Although Dorothy did not have children of her own, she was a beloved aunt and a nurturing presence in the lives of her extended family. Her kindness, generosity, and infectious laughter will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to be touched by her gentle spirit.
