She loves without knowing—
as if her heart remembers
what the world keeps trying to forget.
Her love rises instinctively,
like a prayer whispered
before her mind even forms the words.
She forgives in the way
only a mother shaped by faith can—
not because the hurt was small,
but because her spirit refuses
to let bitterness take root.
Her forgiveness is not forgetting;
it is choosing freedom
over the weight of old wounds.
She grows quietly, steadily,
like a seed watered by grace.
Every trial becomes a lesson,
every scar a scripture,
every setback a steppingstone
toward the woman she is and
grows without permission—
a living testament
to what grace can do
in the hands of a Black woman
who refuses to stop becoming.
