In Loving Memory of Dora It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Dora, who left us on August 19, 2026. Born on October 28, 1983, in Bayshore, NY, Dora was a beacon of light and joy to all who knew her. Her radiant spirit and infectious laughter will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and everyone she touched with her warmth and humor. Dora was a proud graduate of Brentwood High School, class of 2002. Her love for life was evident in her passion for music and her joy in the simple art of coloring. She had a remarkable ability to bring people together, often with a wisecrack or a perfectly timed joke, and was known for her sharp wit and kind heart. Her heart of gold shone brightly in every interaction, leaving a lasting impression on all who were fortunate to cross her path. Though preceded in death by her beloved daughter KahMani, Dora's legacy lives on through her surviving family members, including her siblings, her cherished daughter KahMani, her best friend Tanya, and everyone who loved her. Her family would like to express their deepest gratitude to her dialysis team and all the compassionate nurses and doctors at South Side Hospital Northwell, whose care and kindness were of great comfort during trying times. In honor of Dora's generous spirit, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her memory to a charity of your choice. This gesture would be a fitting tribute to a woman who gave so much of herself to others. As we celebrate Dora's life, let us remember the joy she brought into our lives and carry forward her legacy of love, laughter, and kindness. May her soul rest in peace, and may we find comfort in the beautiful memories she leaves behind.
