It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Donna Wyman, a beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, who left this world on September 19, 2026. Born on October 15, 1939, in Denver, Colorado, Donna's life was a testament to love, faith, and selflessness.
Donna was the daughter of Frank J. Shavlik and Elsie L. Butler. She was predeceased by her brother, Frank Shavlik Jr., and is survived by her loving children, Dave Madison, Mark Madison, Lauri Demel, and Daryle Wyman. Donna was a devoted grandmother to eight grandchildren: Candace Brinckman, Pamela Nauta, Melissa Dey, Trista Miller, Ashley Brunner, Derrek Demel, Aleana Wyman, and Christopher Prusak. Her legacy also includes the joy of seven great-grandchildren.
A graduate of South High School in Denver, Donna embraced her roles in various careers throughout her life, from a switchboard operator at the Hampshire House to a bakery clerk at Albertsons. Her favorite position was at Rose Medical Center, where she felt immense joy helping to bring new lives into the world in the nursery.
Donna was a woman of deep faith, actively participating in the Calvary Temple church community. Her devotion extended beyond the church as she spent her days listening to K-Love radio, finding comfort and strength in its messages. Her love for her family was unparalleled, and she delighted in being a part of their lives, celebrating their accomplishments with pride.
Those who knew Donna will remember her as a lifelong Christian who consistently put others before herself. Her concerns were always rooted in love, a testament to her generous spirit and unwavering dedication to those she cared about most. Her kindness and self-sacrificing nature left an indelible mark on everyone she met.
In honoring Donna's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held for close family and friends. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who cared for Donna during her final days; your kindness and comfort were deeply appreciated.
