It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Donna M. Kenyon, a beloved wife, sister, cousin, and friend. Born on February 14, 1966, in Schenectady, New York, Donna graced this world with her presence for sixty cherished years before peacefully departing on July 6, 2026.
Donna was the cherished daughter of Richard Smida and Bessie Smida (née Smith), who preceded her in death, along with her brother Bruce Smida. Her life was a testament to the love and strength she inherited from her family, and she carried those values forward in every aspect of her life.
Donna's memory will be lovingly cherished by her devoted husband, Sean Kenyon, who stood by her side through every joy and challenge. She is survived by her brother, Rich Smida, who shared in her life's journey, and her cousin Kathy Brown, who was like a sister to her. Donna’s legacy extends to her stepchildren: Daviv Rossler, Wayne Rossler, Janice Screffler, and Paula Nuhfer. She was also a beloved grandmother to nine grandchildren and a great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to her life.
Her family, aunts, uncles, numerous cousins, and countless friends remember Donna for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the indelible mark she left on their hearts. Her life was a tapestry of cherished memories, woven with love, laughter, and the countless moments shared with those she held dear. Donna had a remarkable ability to make those around her feel valued and loved, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
