Born on January 23, 1959, in Lorain, Ohio, Donna was the beloved daughter of Gene and Lynne Edwards. Her life was a tapestry of love, resilience, and dedication, woven together by countless memories shared with those who knew and loved her.
Donna faced a long battle with illness with unparalleled grace and strength, embodying a spirit of determination and courage that inspired all around her. Her unwavering faith and positive outlook remained a guiding light amidst the challenges she faced, offering comfort to her family and friends.
She was the devoted wife of Gary Ward, her loving partner and confidant, with whom she shared a life filled with joy and companionship. Together, they built a family that was her greatest pride and joy. Donna was the proud and loving mother of Chris and Melinie Ward, Tabitha and Josh Early, and Nathan and Jessica Ward. Her nurturing spirit and boundless love were constants in the lives of her children, providing them with a foundation of strength and support.
As a grandmother, Donna's heart expanded even further, embracing each of her eight grandchildren with endless affection and delight. Her laughter and warmth will remain etched in their hearts as they carry forward the legacy of her boundless love.
Donna is survived by her siblings, Gene, Timmy, and Jeffry, who shared countless cherished memories with their sister, creating bonds that will endure forever. Her long-time dear friend, Lori Kaiser, was a steadfast presence in her life, offering companionship and support through every chapter.
Preceded in death by her father, Gene Edwards, Donna is now reunited with him, finding peace in the loving embrace of family who went before her.
Donna's life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and resilience. Her legacy is one of compassion and generosity, values she instilled in her family and shared with her community. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all whose lives were touched by her gentle spirit.
