Donna Jewell (Teel) Lindesmith
July 3, 1944 — March 3, 2026
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Jewell (Teel) Lindesmith, a cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, who left this world on March 3, 2026, at the age of 81. Donna was born on July 3, 1944, in Durant, Oklahoma, to Clifford and Pauline Jewel (Russell) Teel. Her life was a testament to love, resilience, and unwavering faith.
A graduate of Blue High School's Class of 1963, Donna's life was a tapestry woven with diverse experiences and cherished relationships. She explored numerous professional avenues, from working at a service station to being a skilled seamstress at the Levi's factory. Later, alongside her beloved husband, Wayne Lindesmith, she ventured into the world of commercial construction. The couple married on March 23, 1985, in Ft. Worth, Texas, and shared a beautiful life in Waurika, Oklahoma, until Wayne’s passing in 2014.
Donna’s faith was her guiding light. A devoted member of the Friendship Baptist Church of Waurika, she lived her life with a steadfast conviction in her beliefs. She loved reading the Bible and was never hesitant to share her faith in Christ. Her dedication to her church was evident in the joy she found cooking Wednesday night meals for the youth, a labor of love that nourished both body and spirit.
Beyond her faith and work, Donna had a playful side, expressed through her cherished collection of frogs. Each figurine and trinket was a testament to her vibrant personality and love for the little joys in life. Her home was a gathering place, filled with laughter, warmth, and the aroma of home-cooked meals.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Pauline, and her dear husband, Wayne. She leaves behind a family who adored her: her sons, Hobart Ball of Waurika, Oklahoma, and Clifton Ball of Albany, Kentucky; her treasured grandchildren, Corey Ball and Caylee Ball, who were the light of her life; her devoted sisters, Kathie Singleton and husband Don of Bokchito, Theresa Timmons of Blue, Sheila Gold and husband Brent of Bokchito, and Faye White and husband Lindal of Caddo; her loving aunt, Betty Arnold and husband Don of Utica; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins who will forever cherish her memory.
Donna’s life will be celebrated at a service on March 7, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Bokchito Cemetery Pavilion. Family, friends, and all whose lives she touched are invited to honor her legacy of love, kindness, and faith.
In remembering Donna Jewell (Teel) Lindesmith, we celebrate a woman of determined spirit and strong character, whose life was a beacon of light and love. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her, and her legacy will continue to inspire all who follow in her footsteps.
