It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Donna Jean Randall, who departed this world peacefully on May 19, 2026, at the age of 84. Donna was born on January 11, 1942, in Youngstown, Ohio, to the late M. Dean and Pearl Stafford, who instilled in her the values of kindness, resilience, and compassion that she carried throughout her life.
Donna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose love and dedication to her family were unparalleled. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gerald Randall, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage. They were wed on August 4, 1962, and together they built a family filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Donna's legacy lives on in her children, Kathy (James) Kappler and Paul Randall, who were the light of her life and her proudest accomplishments. Her nurturing spirit and wisdom have also been lovingly passed down to her four grandchildren: Mel, Adam, Owen, and Sabrina, as well as her two great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her later years.
Donna's life was a testament to the power of family and community. She was actively involved in her local church, where she found joy in helping others and was known for her welcoming smile and generous heart. Her warmth and kindness extended beyond her immediate family, as she touched the lives of all who knew her with her gentle spirit and unwavering support.
In addition to her dedication to her family, Donna had a passion for gardening, where she found solace and joy surrounded by the beauty of nature. Her garden was a place of tranquility and reflection, much like Donna herself. She also had a love for cooking and took great pleasure in preparing meals that brought her family together, creating a home filled with love and delicious aromas.
While we mourn the loss of Donna, we also celebrate the incredible life she led and the profound impact she had on those around her. Her life was a shining example of love, resilience, and grace, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
A private family service will be held to honor Donna's life, with a public memorial service to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Donna's memory, as a tribute to her generous spirit and love for helping others.
Donna Jean Randall's legacy is one of love, devotion, and kindness. As we remember her, may we carry her spirit forward, cherishing our own loved ones and embracing the beauty in every moment, just as she did.
