In loving memory, we celebrate the life of Donna Faye Medinnus, who passed peacefully at her home in Rochester, MN, on February 17, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on March 21, 1962, in the quaint town of LeRoy, MN, Donna was a beacon of kindness and strength, touching the lives of everyone she encountered. Donna was the cherished daughter of the late Ray and Lorrie Medinnus, who instilled in her the values of compassion, resilience, and community service. Her parents' legacy of love and generosity was evident in every aspect of her life. Although they preceded her in death, their spirit lived on through Donna's every action and word. Growing up in LeRoy, Donna was part of a close-knit family, surrounded by the love and laughter of her siblings. She shared a deep bond with her sisters, Linda Yates and Mary Medinnus, and her brother, Brian, along with his wife, Mary. Donna's educational journey began at LeRoy High School, where she graduated in 1980. She furthered her education at Riverland Community College, where she excelled, driven by her passion for learning and helping others. Her professional life was marked by her dedication to the medical field, where she worked tirelessly to improve the lives of those in her care. Her medical team, alongside her Haitian friends whom she regarded as her second family, were a testament to her nurturing spirit and unwavering dedication to service. Donna's life was a testament to the profound impact one person can have on the world. Her kindness and compassion knew no bounds, and she was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her warmth and genuine care for others earned her the love and respect of all who knew her. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Tammy and John Loecher for their continuous support and care for Donna, which brought comfort and peace to her journey. A service to honor and celebrate Donna's remarkable life will be held on April 17, 2026, at 4:00 PM at the LeRoy Community Center. Friends and family are invited to gather and share in the memories of a life so beautifully lived.
