Donna Farley- Gray

It is with deep sadness, yet profound gratitude for a life beautifully lived, that we announce the passing of Donna Farley-Gray, who left this world peacefully on May 29, 2026, at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana, following a brief illness. Born in Richmond on April 2, 1969, Donna graced this world with her gentle spirit and unwavering kindness for 57 years. A cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Donna leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that touched all who knew her. She will be dearly missed by her devoted husband of 18 years, Charles R. Gray, Jr., with whom she shared a life filled with laughter, adventure, and mutual respect. From their marriage on July 19, 2008, Donna and Charles crafted a beautiful journey together, one grounded in love and adorned with countless cherished memories. Donna was a proud and loving mother to her son, Devin L. Byerly, and an adoring grandmother to her precious granddaughter, Isbell Jo Byerly, who brought immense joy to her life. Her heart extended far beyond her immediate family, as she was a beloved sister to four sisters and three brothers, and an adored aunt to 11 nieces and nephews, as well as countless great-nieces and nephews. Her family was the cornerstone of her existence, and she reveled in the joy of family gatherings, where her warmth and laughter were always at the center. Her generosity and selflessness were apparent in every aspect of her life, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Donna's community spirit was evident in her support for causes close to her heart. In her memory, the family requests that donations be made to the Wayne County Special Olympics, an organization she held dear. Contributions can be sent to PO Box 42, Webster, IN 47392. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated care team at Reid Hospital, particularly the compassionate staff and doctors on the 5th floor, for their exceptional care and kindness during Donna's final days. In honor of Donna's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held, allowing family and close friends to celebrate her life and legacy in an intimate setting. Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find solace in the countless memories and the enduring love that Donna leaves behind. Her spirit will forever be a guiding light in our lives, reminding us to live with kindness, grace, and an open heart. Donna's legacy is one of love—a love that will continue to inspire and uplift us, even in her absence.
