With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Donez Searls, who left this world on June 3, 2026, at the age of 36. Born on July 27, 1989, in Bradenton, Florida, Donez was a cherished son, brother, and friend who touched the lives of many with his warmth and kindness. Donez was the beloved son of the late Daunte Searls and Enid Lee. He is also predeceased by his brother Elijah Lee, Deon Searls, and his sister Coya Searls. Though his time with us was far too short, Donez's spirit and the memories he created will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. Growing up in Bradenton, Donez graduated from Manatee High School, where he first began to showcase his infectious smile and ability to light up any room he entered. His zest for life was evident in his passion for basketball and his love for spending time with his family. An enthusiast of bowling and ATV adventures, Donez found joy in activities that brought people together, always eager to include others in his love for fun and excitement. Those who knew Donez admired his unwavering willingness to help anyone who crossed his path. His generous spirit and open heart were a testament to his deep faith, which he was never shy to express, praising God wherever he went. Donez’s life was a living testament to his belief in kindness and compassion, and his legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to experience his genuine warmth and generosity. A celebration of Donez's life will be held on June 13, 2026, at Increasing Joy Ministries, located at 2515 37th St E, Palmetto, FL 34221. Although the service time is set at midnight, we find solace in coming together under the night sky, a fitting tribute to the light Donez brought into our lives. As we gather to remember Donez, let us do so with gratitude for the love and laughter he brought into our lives. May we honor his memory by carrying forward his legacy of kindness, by helping others, and by sharing our own smiles with the world. Rest in peace, dear Donez. You will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to know you.
