Born on March 26, 2008, in the serene city of Anchorage, Alaska, Donetra's life, though brief, was filled with love, laughter, and boundless potential. Donetra was a beacon of light to everyone who knew her. She was the cherished daughter of the late Donetra and Daniel Love and a beloved sister to her predeceased brother, Dane. Her spirit lives on through her surviving daughter, Dasia, who was not only her pride and joy but also her greatest legacy. Donetra's surviving brother, Dame, remains a pillar of strength and a testament to the enduring bonds of sibling love. Having recently completed her studies and proudly earned her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license, Donetra was on the cusp of a promising career dedicated to helping others. Her compassionate nature and commitment to service were evident in everything she did, from her studies to her care for family and friends. Donetra's dreams of nurturing and healing were rooted in a deep and genuine desire to make the world a better place, one person at a time. Donetra’s presence was a comforting warmth that radiated love and kindness. She was a devoted mother whose heart and soul were dedicated to Dasia, ensuring that her daughter felt loved and supported in every possible way. Her laughter was infectious, and her smile could light up even the darkest of days. Donetra's kindness, empathy, and strength were the pillars upon which she built her relationships, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to have known her. In this time of mourning, we find solace in the memories we shared with Donetra. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire us all. Although her life was tragically cut short, the impact she had on her family and community will endure for generations to come. A celebration of Donetra's life will be held on April 23, 2026, at 1:30 PM at Ragsdale Funeral Home, located at 5050 Federal Blvd, San Diego, CA 92102. We invite all who knew and loved her to join us in honoring her memory and celebrating the beautiful life she lived. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a fund established for Donetra’s daughter, Dasia, ensuring that the love and dreams Donetra held for her daughter continue to grow and flourish.
