Anchorage, Alaska, welcomed a vibrant soul into the world on March 26, 2008, when Donetra Love was born. With a spirit as expansive as the Alaskan skies, Donetra brought warmth and compassion into every room she entered. Her journey, marked by love, courage, and an unyielding dedication to caring for others, touched countless lives until her peaceful passing on April 27, 2026. Donetra's early years were filled with the natural beauty and adventure of her birthplace. Her innate kindness and empathy were evident from a young age, qualities that would define her life and career. These traits guided her towards a fulfilling path in healthcare, where she recently celebrated the accomplishment of achieving her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license. Donetra’s commitment to her vocation was driven by a deep desire to bring comfort and healing to those in need, a testament to her nurturing heart. Family was the cornerstone of Donetra's life. She was predeceased by her loving parents, Donetra and Daniel Love, her brother Dane, and her cherished daughter Dasia. Their memories were a source of strength and inspiration for her, and she honored them through her unwavering love for her surviving daughter Dasia and brother Dame. Donetra’s devotion to her family was evident in every aspect of her life, and her legacy of love will continue to thrive in their hearts. Donetra's life will be celebrated on April 23, 2026, at 1:30 PM at the Ragsdale Funeral Home, located at 5050 Federal Blvd, San Diego, CA 92102. The service will serve as a poignant reminder of her gentle spirit and the profound impact she had on those around her. Family and friends will gather to honor her memory, sharing stories of her kindness, resilience, and the joy she brought into their lives.
