Born on December 15, 1961, in Bakersfield, Donald was the cherished son of Tex and Jayne Sullivan. Donald was a man of many talents, known for his warmth and generosity. He leaves behind his loving wife, Micheline, with whom he shared a beautiful marriage that began on January 24, 2015. Together, they embarked on numerous adventures across the United States and beyond, creating countless memories on cruises to Europe, the Mediterranean, and most recently, Ireland. Donald's fondness for life’s simple pleasures, such as a good whiskey, was matched only by his love for Micheline and their shared explorations. Professionally, Donald was a man of great skill and dedication. Holding several licenses throughout his career, his final endeavor was as a general contractor, where he exhibited his exceptional ability to transform business relationships into lasting friendships. Taking over his brother David's clientele, Donald was renowned for his commitment to exceeding expectations, always going the extra mile to ensure satisfaction and happiness. His creativity extended beyond his professional life. Donald was perpetually engaged in projects around their home, including the impressive feat of building a bedroom over the kitchen, accessible by a spiral staircase. His work was not just a testament to his skills but also a reflection of his love for creating spaces filled with warmth and comfort. Donald was predeceased by his father, Tex Sullivan, and his brother, Wayne Sullivan. He is survived by his devoted wife, Micheline, his beloved mother, Jayne, his sons Johnathon, Carlos, Donald, and Sean, his brother David, and his sister, Betty (affectionately known as Bunny) Butelo. His legacy continues through his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom will remember him fondly for his kindness, humor, and unwavering support.
