It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Ray Stoeck, who departed this world on March 19, 2026, at Stanford Hospital in Fargo, ND. Born on October 7, 1956, in the serene town of Alexandria, MN, Donald was a man whose life was a testament to kindness, dedication, and an unwavering love for his family and passions. Donald was the cherished son of Ray and Doris Stoeck, who predeceased him, along with his beloved grandparents, Bill and Ella Stoeck. He leaves behind a legacy of love through his daughter, Serena Stoeck, and his sister, Diane, and her husband, David Kridler. Donald was also a proud grandfather of two, whose lives he touched deeply with his gentle spirit and warm heart. His career with Henry Foods in Alexandria spanned 15 years, where he was not just an employee but a friend and mentor to many. Donald's colleagues remember him fondly for his dedication, work ethic, and the infectious smile that could brighten any day. His love for fishing was well-known among friends and family alike, and many cherished memories were made by the water's edge, where he found peace and joy. Donald shared many beautiful years with his wife, Lyndia Skogland, during which they created a life full of love and shared dreams. Although their marriage spanned from an unspecified year to another, the bond they shared and the memories they built together were timeless. In accordance with his family's wishes, a private ceremony will be held to honor Donald's life. A Celebration of Life will be organized at a later date, where close family and friends will gather to remember the joy, laughter, and love that Donald brought into their lives. As we bid farewell to Donald, we hold close the memories of a man who lived with integrity, compassion, and an enduring love for those around him. His spirit will forever be a guiding light to his family and friends, reminding us of the beauty in kindness and the strength in togetherness. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of choice, in honor of Donald's loving and generous nature. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love and gratitude of all who had the privilege to know him.
