Born June 16, 1956, in Toledo, Ohio, Donald's life was a journey marked by love, laughter, and dedication to those he cherished most. Donald was the beloved son of the late Donald and Hope Morrin. He was predeceased by his dear father and sister, Dede, whose memories he held close to his heart. He is survived by his devoted wife of 31 years, Judy, who was his steadfast partner in life since they married on July 28, 1995, in Toledo, Ohio. Together, they built a beautiful family, nurturing and guiding their four children: sons Christopher and James, and daughters Angel and Shannon. Donald delighted in the joy and love of his grandchildren: Kaylie, Tavin, Aaliyah, Nikolas, Lotus, Oli, Khloe, Vance, and Autumn, who were his pride and joy. Donald was a cherished brother to Edward, and his sisters Sue, Faith, and Rose. His extended family included countless nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in his heart. Donald's career was a testament to his unwavering work ethic and adventurous spirit. He spent many years as a truck driver, traversing the country and relishing the open road. Additionally, he worked alongside his uncle Jim and cousins Jeff and Jerry in construction, contributing his skills and strength to their shared endeavors. In his personal life, Donald was known for his love of simple pleasures. He found joy in visiting the casino, scratching lottery tickets, and playing games and cards with his family and friends. His younger years were filled with cherished memories of camping and fishing trips, where he found peace in nature and the company of loved ones. A celebration of Donald's life will be held on March 29, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Friendship Park Hall, located at 2930 131st St, Toledo, OH 43611. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor a man who touched so many lives with his warmth, generosity, and unwavering love.
