Donald Morgan
August 8, 1951 — September 10, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Morgan, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Donald departed this life peacefully on September 10, 2026, surrounded by his beloved family. Born on August 8, 1951, in Pineville, Louisiana, he was the devoted son of the late William and Mary Antoinette (Beard) Morgan.
Donald was a man of few words but possessed a heart overflowing with kindness and love. His strong work ethic and dedication were evident throughout his career in air conditioning and heating, spanning over four decades. Donald's expertise and commitment to his craft left an indelible mark on the Houston community, as he tirelessly served numerous commercial and residential customers with unwavering integrity and passion.
A proud graduate of St. Matthew of Melrose in 1969, Donald continued his education at Natchitoches Trade School, where he honed the skills that would define his career in 1971. His journey was marked by diligence and a steadfast resolve to see every task through to completion.
On September 3, 1983, Donald married the love of his life, Frankie LaCaour Morgan. Together, they nurtured a family grounded in love and mutual respect. Donald is survived by his beloved wife, Frankie, and their children: Cecilia Thompson, Clarissa (Tramon) Bradley, and Donald Anthony (Karina) Morgan. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Caitlyn Bradley, Jaxton Thompson, Collin Bradley, Jace Thompson, and Juliette Morgan, who brought immense joy to his life.
Throughout his life, Donald found great pleasure in the simplest of joys—spending time outdoors, savoring hunny buns, and enjoying a refreshing Coke. Most importantly, he treasured moments with his grandchildren, who were the light of his life.
Donald is predeceased by his parents, William and Mary Antoinette Beard Morgan, as well as his siblings, Joseph (Marie) Morgan, Leo Morgan, Louis (Gussie) Morgan, Charles "CJ" (Catherine) Morgan, Joseph William "JW" Morgan, Benjamin Morgan, and sisters Cora (Ernest) Metoyer, Teresa (Stanley) Roque, Emma Lee (Alfred) Rachel, and Emma Metoyer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on September 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, located at 5102 Dabney St, Houston, Texas 77026. Friends and family are invited to gather in celebration of Donald's life and legacy.
The Morgan family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and kindness during this difficult time. Special thanks are extended to his devoted caregiver, Linda, as well as the compassionate medical teams at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic and Houston Hospice. Their unwavering support and care have been a source of comfort to the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Donald's memory to a charity of your choice. May God bless each of you for your continued prayers and support.
