May 17, 1950 — May 8, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the peaceful passing of Donald Joseph Fuller, who departed this world surrounded by the love of his family at his home on May 8, 2026. Born on May 17, 1950, in Fresno, CA, to Malcolm and Alethea Fuller, Don's 75 years were marked by kindness, laughter, and unwavering dedication to family and community. Don's journey began in the vibrant fields of Fresno, where he first embarked on his career in the cotton gin business. It wasn't long, however, before he found his true calling in the masa industry, earning the affectionate title of "Masaman." Through his innovative spirit and commitment, he played a pivotal role in advancing commercial masa production, leaving an indelible mark on the industry. Later in life, Don transitioned to Boss Automation, where he concluded his professional career, retiring with the same dedication he brought to every endeavor. A man of many passions, Don found joy in the great outdoors. Whether casting a line in the serene waters of Red River, NM, or pursuing game with friends and family, his love for nature was evident. An avid sports enthusiast, he could often be found on the golf course or cheering on his daughter Brynne at her track meets, a testament to his enduring support and pride in his children's achievements. As a grandfather, Don's adoration for his grandchildren, Conlin and Isla, was boundless, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Don's warmth and generosity of spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He was the neighbor always willing to lend a hand, the friend with a joke ready to brighten your day, and the father whose belief in his children never wavered. His laughter, often sparked by a goofy comedy like "Christmas Vacation" or "Caddyshack," was infectious, and his stories and humor will be dearly missed. Preceded in death by his beloved sister Dianne, Don leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. He is survived by his devoted wife Deborah, sons Garron and Jarrod, daughter Brynne, son-in-law Ian Diaz, and his cherished grandchildren, Conlin and Isla. His extended family and a wide circle of friends also mourn his loss, each carrying forward the light he brought into their lives. A celebration of Don's life will be held on May 22, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Lighthouse Funeral Home, located at 3707 Wolflin Ave, Amarillo, TX 79102. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to friends, family, and the hospice team for their unwavering support and compassion during this difficult time. In honoring Don's memory, we celebrate a life filled with laughter, love, and the simple joys of family and friendship. His spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in peace, his legacy a guiding light for all who loved him.
