Donald Jorgenson

Donald Jorgenson, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on November 22, 1936, in the village of Lake Nebagamon, Wisconsin. Don was the son of Rollin and Margaret Jorgenson. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Jerry and Dick, sister Judy, and son Billy. Don graduated from Northwestern High School in 1954 and went on to earn his bachelor's degree from Superior State in 1958. He also served two years in the United States Army. Following his military service, Don embarked on a distinguished 30-year career as a systems engineer at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. Don had a rambunctious spirit & lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed keeping track of the happenings in Lake Nebagamon & patroling its north shore watching for his favorite eagle, Eddie. Don's legacy lives on through his devoted wife, Kathy, children, Jeff, Jenny, and Julie, and seven grandchildren. Don lived life to the fullest. He loved his wife, family, and LAKE NEBAGAMON! A celebration of life is tentatively scheduled for spring/summer of 2027 at Bridge's bar in Lake Nebagamon
