Born on October 16, 1951, in the warm embrace of Cleveland, Tennessee, Donald departed this world peacefully at his home on May 10, 2026, surrounded by love and the gentle whispers of his beloved Volunteer State. Donald was the treasured son of Betty Jo Payne and Denver Longwith Sr., from whom he inherited a legacy of kindness and integrity. As he journeyed through life, Donald became a beacon of wisdom and warmth, known for his deep knowledge and unwavering compassion. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Christine Longwith, and his stepson, Steven Frost, whose memories he cherished deeply and whose spirits will remain intertwined with his own. Donald leaves behind a tapestry of family who will continue to honor his memory. His children, Adrian Longwith and Zyiesha Hunt, carry forward his legacy of love and resilience. His stepchildren, Mike Eades and Shirley Dooley, were embraced by his generous spirit and unwavering support. Donald's love extended to his grandchildren, Emily Frost, Chelsie Price, and Chris Dooley, each a testament to the enduring bonds of family. His great-grandchildren, Oaklenn Frost-Belford, Jaxon Frost-Belford, Rose Hunt, Amber Dooley, Navadius Hendrix, Marleigh Rencher, Draxo Hunter, and Sage Hendrix, were the bright stars in his twilight years. Donald's professional life was marked by dedication and service. He initially contributed his skills at Itron and later found great fulfillment in his work at Senior Solutions, from which he retired with a sense of accomplishment and the respect of his colleagues. Beyond his professional achievements, Donald found joy in life's simple pleasures. He was a devoted fan of football, with a particular passion for the Tennessee Volunteers, whose games he watched with unwavering enthusiasm and a heart full of pride. In accordance with his wishes, a private ceremony will be held to celebrate Donald's life, reflecting the intimate and personal connections he cherished most. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be mailed to Adrian Longwith and Mike Eades at 419 Rock Crusher Rd, Walhalla, SC 29691 ensuring that Donald's legacy of generosity and care continues to make a difference in the lives of those he loved.
