It is with heavy hearts and profound love that we announce the passing of Donald A. Hopkins, a cherished father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Donald left this world on May 20, 2026, at the age of 65, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and kindness that will continue to inspire all who knew him. He was a man whose deep affection for his family formed the cornerstone of his life. Born on July 22, 1960, in Mt. Holly, NJ, Donald was the beloved son of Doris and Robert Hopkins. He grew up in a household filled with love and laughter, alongside his siblings, forging bonds that would last a lifetime. Donald's gentle spirit and unwavering loyalty to his family were evident from an early age and only grew stronger throughout his life. Donald was predeceased by his parents, Doris and Robert Hopkins, his sister Susan Lewis, his brothers Robert and Steven, and his brother-in-law Michael Mansfield. Despite these profound losses, Donald remained a pillar of strength for his family, embodying resilience and unconditional love. He is survived by his devoted sister Jane Hopkins, his brother Dan Hopkins and wife Lori, and his beloved children, Donald and Jamie Hopkins. Donald's grandchildren, Andre, Isaiah, and Ava Lynn Smith, were the lights of his life, and he reveled in every moment spent with them, creating memories that will be cherished forever. His legacy extends to many cousins, nieces, and nephews who held a special place in his heart. Donald had a unique ability to touch the lives of those around him with his kindness and generosity. He was not just a family man; he was a friend to all, always ready with a listening ear or a helping hand. His love for his family was immeasurable, and he cherished every opportunity to gather with them, celebrating life's milestones and creating lasting traditions. A service to honor and remember Donald's life will be held on May 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Page Funeral Home, located at 302 East Union St., Burlington, NJ. Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating a life well-lived and to share in the joy and gratitude of having known such a wonderful man.
