It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald (Donnie) Coleman, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Donald was born on February 23, 1958, in Tennessee to his loving parents, Juanita and Charles. He departed this world on August 23, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Donald was a devoted family man who dedicated his life to those he loved. He shared a beautiful marriage with his wife, Denise Coleman, whom he wed in 1998. Together, they built a nurturing home filled with warmth and happiness. A proud and supportive father, Donald was blessed with all daughters: Gina, Shanta, Yolanda, Cynthia, and DeMya. He found immense joy in watching them grow into the remarkable women they are today. A cherished grandfather, Donald was adored by his grandchildren, Antonio, Jayla, Kennedi, DeMari, and Montavious, (insert ginas kids) who brought him endless joy and pride. He also leaves behind his brother, Raymond(Brother)(insert wife) Donald served his country with honor and distinction during his time in the military, a commitment that underscored his deep sense of duty and patriotism. Following his service, he embarked on a long and fulfilling career with metro public works (insert years), where he worked diligently until his well-earned retirement. In his leisure time, Donald found solace in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid reader, often immersing himself in the pages of a good book, finding adventure and wisdom in the stories he devoured. Donald is predeceased by his cherished sister, Cheryl (Tammy) Coleman, whose memory he held dear throughout his life. Donald’s warm presence, unwavering dedication to his family, and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. As we say goodbye to a remarkable man, we hold on to the precious memories and the enduring love he leaves behind.
