Born in Phoenix, Arizona on September 13, 1957, Don was a beacon of kindness and strength in the lives of all who knew him. Don was the cherished son of Gene Cooper and Geraldine Cooper Hunt, who predeceased him, alongside his beloved brother. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, carried on by his devoted wife of 47 years, whose partnership was a testament to unwavering commitment and shared dreams. Family was the cornerstone of Don's life. He is survived by his son Shaun and his wife Usha, and his daughter Amanda and her husband Matt, who brought immense pride and joy to his life. Don's four grandchildren, Suraj, Sabrina, Lily, and Matthew, were his greatest delights, and he relished every moment spent with them, treasuring their laughter and unique personalities. Don shared a close bond with his brother Randy, who survives him, and together they navigated life's journey with humor and camaraderie. For many years, Don was a dedicated and respected truck driver, a career that allowed him to traverse the open roads, meeting new people and experiencing the beauty of our vast country. His work ethic and loyalty were admired by all who had the privilege of working alongside him. A memorial service to honor Don’s life will be held on June 5, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Burton Cemetery, Burton, AZ. Friends and family are invited to come together to celebrate Don's life and share in the memories that will forever warm our hearts. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Haven Health Center and all its staff members for their compassionate and respectful care, ensuring Don's comfort in his final days. Your kindness will never be forgotten. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Don's name, ensuring that his legacy of generosity and kindness continues to touch lives. May Don Cooper rest in eternal peace, forever remembered for his gentle spirit, unwavering love for his family, and the indelible mark he left on all who had the honor of knowing him.
