It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Don Clifton Williams on September 17, 2026. Born on September 2, 1938, in San Antonio, Texas, Don was a beacon of warmth, kindness, and integrity. He is lovingly remembered by his devoted family and countless friends whose lives he touched throughout his 88 remarkable years. Don was the cherished son of Virgil Herman Williams and Minnie Bush Williams. He was predeceased by his beloved parents and his siblings, Mary, John, Charlie, Tommy, and Betty, with whom he shared a deep familial bond. On July 14, 1962, Don married the love of his life, Sonja. Together they built a beautiful life over 64 years, filled with love, laughter, and deep companionship. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love and partnership, inspiring all who knew them. Don was a devoted father to his two sons, Terry and his wife Mona, and Carey and his wife Ledean. His legacy of love and integrity continues through his grandchildren: Christina and her husband David, Aubrey and her husband James, and Olivia. Don was also blessed with a great-grandson, Leo, who brought immense joy to his later years. A service to honor Don's life will be held on October 6, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Clermont, located at 2751 Hartwood Marsh Rd. Family, friends, and all whose lives Don touched are invited to attend and celebrate his life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, in honor of Don's generous spirit and commitment to helping others. Don Clifton Williams leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and kindness. His memory will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him, and his spirit will continue to guide and inspire his family and friends.
