Born on February 4, 1985, in the charming town of Beacon, New York, Dominique's spirit was as vibrant and enduring as the Hudson River that flowed nearby. Dominique was the cherished daughter of the late Jacqueline Jones and Gerry Free. Though her parents have predeceased her, their love and values lived on through Dominique's life and continue to do so through her surviving son, Prince Jones, who was the light of her life. A proud graduate of Beacon High School, Dominique dedicated her life to helping others. She worked tirelessly as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in Beacon and Poughkeepsie, New York, providing compassionate care and support to those in need. Her career path also took her into clerical roles with FedEx in Schenectady, New York, where her diligence and organizational skills shone brightly. Dominique's creativity knew no bounds. She had a passion for singing and expressed her artistic flair by designing her own clothing label, aptly named "Pink Sushi." Her designs, much like her personality, were colorful and full of life. Those who had the privilege of knowing Dominique will remember her for her warm smile and infectious laughter. She had a unique gift for lifting spirits, often bringing joy and humor to any room she entered. Her presence was a reminder of the beauty of laughter and the importance of kindness. A memorial service to honor Dominique's life will be held on September 5, 2026, at 4:00 PM. The family extends their deepest gratitude to Albany Medical Center's exceptional doctors and nurses for the care and compassion they provided. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dominique's memory to the American Heart Association, an organization dedicated to saving and improving lives through heart health initiatives. Dominique's legacy is one of love, laughter, and resilience. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.
