In Loving Memory
Dominic Roshawn Lee Cummings
December 1, 2007 — February 13, 2026
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dominic Roshawn Lee Cummings, a beloved son, nephew, and cherished friend. Dominic left us far too soon on February 13, 2026, at the tender age of 18. Born on December 1, 2007, in Conway, South Carolina, Dominic was a radiant presence whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone he encountered.
Dominic was the beloved son of Rose Cummings, who survives him and mourns his loss deeply. He is also lovingly remembered by his aunt, who, alongside Rose, nurtured and supported Dominic throughout his life. The family finds solace in knowing that Dominic is now reunited with his predeceased grandparents, who undoubtedly welcome him with open arms.
Dominic spent his formative years in the nurturing environment of Marlboro County High School. He was a dedicated student whose curiosity and passion for learning inspired those around him. Dominic's teachers and classmates will always remember him for his infectious smile, gentle spirit, and unwavering compassion for others.
Despite the challenges he faced, Dominic's heart was immense, and he cared deeply for his family and friends. He had a particular fondness for music and found joy and solace in its melodies. His laughter and love for life left a lasting impression on those who knew him, and his absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt by many.
Dominic's life, though brief, was filled with moments of genuine love and joy. His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him, and his memory will serve as a reminder of the importance of kindness, empathy, and understanding.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate Dominic's life will be held on February 16, 2026, at 4:00 PM at the McColl Church of God, located at 115 Graytown Road. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Dominic are warmly invited to attend and share in the remembrance of his beautiful life.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made in Dominic's memory to support mental health awareness and suicide prevention initiatives. It is their hope that these contributions will help others find the support and understanding that Dominic, too, sought.
As we gather to say goodbye to Dominic, let us remember the joy he brought into our lives, the love he shared, and the light he will continue to shine in our memories. May his soul find peace, and may we honor his memory by embracing each other with love and compassion.
