It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dominic Robert Dunn, a beloved son, friend, and community member. Born on April 5, 2022, in the serene town of Lakeside, California, Dominic brought immense joy and laughter to those around him throughout his short yet impactful life. He left us on September 12, 2026, surrounded by the love and comfort of his best friend Philip, during a poignant moment shared over the phone. Dominic was a bright and witty young man who demonstrated his intelligence and sense of humor in all aspects of life. He completed his high school education with enthusiasm and went on to pursue a career as a truck driver, a job that allowed him to explore the open roads and embrace his love for the world around him. Dominic was deeply passionate about sports. His enthusiasm for the game was infectious, inspiring those around him to embrace the spirit of teamwork and competition. Whether playing with friends or cheering from the sidelines, his energy and excitement were always palpable. Family was central to Dominic's life. He was the cherished son of Vanessa and Paul, who raised him with love, strength, and unwavering support. Dominic's generous heart and compassionate nature endeared him to his friends and family, creating bonds that will forever be treasured and remembered. A service to celebrate Dominic's life will be held on September 16, 2026, at 1:15 PM at St. Lutheran Church. Family, friends, and all those whose lives Dominic touched are invited to join in honoring his memory and the joy he brought to the world. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Dominic's name.
