Divinity Douglas

September 4, 1990 — August 1, 2026

In loving memory of Divinity Douglas, who graced this world with her warmth and kindness on September 4, 1990, in Virginia. It is with profound sadness that we announce her peaceful passing on August 5, 2026. Divinity was a cherished daughter to Makai Banks and Trey Douglas and is now reunited with her beloved grandparents, Harvey and Florence Douglas, who preceded her in death. A devoted and loving mother, Divinity is survived by her two sons, Makai Banks and Trey Douglas, who were her pride and joy. Her legacy of love and compassion lives on in her five grandchildren, who she adored and cherished deeply. Divinity was a spirited individual, full of laughter and joy, always seen spoiling her sons with love and affection. Known as the "party mom," she was a beacon of cheer and a source of warmth to all who knew her. Her home was constantly filled with laughter and the exuberant energy of her family, creating memories that will be treasured forever. After graduating from Arcadia High School in Oak Hall, Virginia, Divinity pursued a career as a pharmacist, where she dedicated herself to the well-being of others with care and professionalism. She was also a valued member of the Jerusalem Baptist Church, where she was active in the community and a friend to many. Divinity’s life will be celebrated in a service held at Jerusalem Baptist Church on Withams Lane. The service will take place at 12:08 PM on August 1, 2026, where family and friends will gather to honor her remarkable life and bid a heartfelt farewell. The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of one's choice, in remembrance of Divinity's generous spirit and her desire to help others. As we remember Divinity, we hold on to the special message from her family: "Forever love." Her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she touched, and her legacy of love and laughter will be cherished eternally.
