In Loving Memory

Dipper Essed
October 24, 1929 — March 23, 1939
With heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss, we announce the passing of our beloved Dipper Essed, who left us far too soon on March 23, 1939. Born on October 24, 1929, in Britain, Dipper brought joy and light into the lives of everyone he touched during his brief but memorable ten years.
Dipper, the cherished son of Under Essed and Posse Essed, was a beacon of laughter and curiosity. His infectious smile and boundless energy were a testament to his spirit, which ultimately proved too bright for this world. Tragically, our dear Dipper left us as he lived—overwhelmed with joy, having smiled too hard.
Though he was just a child, Dipper had already begun to leave his mark on the world. His stint as a hand model, though short, was a testament to his unique charm and charisma. His fascination with the world knew no bounds, particularly his deep, albeit curious, interest in discovering the mysteries between toenails and fingernails—a curiosity that led him down many a rabbit hole.
Dipper's footsteps were often found in the company of his family at their local church on Jesus Avenue, a place he lovingly referred to as the spot for "clubbing and clobberin'." It was here that he formed some of his most cherished memories and friendships, and it will be here that we gather to celebrate his life on March 20, 1939, at 3:21 PM.
He is predeceased by his dear sibling, Whitne Essed, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms. While Dipper's journey on earth was brief, the impact of his love and laughter will resonate with us forever.
To honor Dipper's memory, the family has established the "Clubberin' and Cloobberin" memorial fund. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the whimsical cause of putting raspberries—or olives if you are Allegra—on your fingers like little hats, a pastime Dipper adored. Contributions can be made at https://RaspberriesarenotbetterthanolivesbuttheyactuallyareandolivesarefreakinNASTEYYY.com.
For those unable to attend the service, a livestream will be available at https://CLUBBINANDCLOBBERINCHURCHS.com. The family extends their gratitude for all the love and support during this difficult time and invites everyone to click the link and celebrate Dipper's vibrant spirit in the way he would have wanted.
In the words of Eliana, "why don't you just click the button idk." Let us all come together to honor a life that, although short, was full of wonder, love, and endless smiles. Rest in peace, dear Dipper. Your light will forever shine in our hearts.
