The son of Dionisio Magbatoc, Sr., and Emilia Gutierrez, he was instilled with strong values of hard work and compassion from an early age. These values guided him throughout his career as a mechanical engineer, where he served with distinction across several Middle Eastern countries. His work ethic and dedication were admired by colleagues and friends alike, and even as he faced health challenges, including diabetes and end-stage renal disease (ESRD), Dionisio remained steadfast and resilient, finally retiring in 2015.
