Diego Garcia Rodriguez, a vibrant and spirited soul, was born on March 17, 2010, in the beautiful land of Puerto Rico. His life, though tragically brief, was filled with the warmth of endless sunshine, laughter, and the love of those who knew him. He left us unexpectedly on December 17, 2025, at the tender age of 15, alongside his beloved girlfriend, Ayala, in a heartbreaking car accident. Diego was a junior at Lake City High School, where he was cherished by both peers and teachers for his infectious energy and carefree personality. His bright smile could light up the darkest room, and his joyful spirit was a beacon of happiness for everyone around him. Diego's zest for life was evident in his many passions, including fishing, skateboarding, and swimming. He embraced every moment with an adventurous heart, always ready for the next wave, the next ride, or the next catch. He was the beloved son of Anna and Joshua, who find solace in the countless memories of their dear boy, whose laughter and love filled their lives. Diego was preceded in death by his cherished Abuela Lydia, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms in the afterlife. Though his journey was short, Diego's legacy is one of joy, love, and an unwavering spirit that will continue to inspire those who knew and loved him. A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor his memory, allowing family and close friends to gather in remembrance of the beautiful life he lived. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, in Diego's honor, as a testament to his giving nature and the kindness he extended to all. The family wishes to express a heartfelt message: "We miss you dearly, Diego. Gone too soon, forever 15."
