Dianne Courtney Nash

June 13, 1946 — June 14, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and cherished memories that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, aunt, and friend, Dianne Courtney Nash, who departed this world on June 14, 2026, a day after celebrating her 80th birthday. Dianne was born on June 13, 1946, to Herbert and Pauline Nash, who have since welcomed her into their eternal embrace. Dianne was a beacon of loyalty and determination, qualities that she embodied throughout her life. Her journey began in Forest Hills High School, where she laid the foundation for a life filled with love, laughter, and lasting friendships. She was a proud and active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Monroe and later, the Centerview Baptist Church of Marshville, where she found community and spiritual fulfillment. Her early adulthood was marked by a spirited enthusiasm for NASCAR, a passion that brought her joy and connected her with others who shared her love for the sport. As the years passed, Dianne found immense happiness in the simple pleasures of life—cherishing visits from friends and family, and becoming an avid supporter of Wingate baseball, cheering on the team with the same fervor and dedication she applied to every aspect of her life. Dianne was a beloved sister to Bill Nash and Rusty Nash, and a cherished sister-in-law to Karen Nash and Karen Figley. Her nurturing spirit and warm heart made her a treasured aunt to her nieces, Niki Koesel and Meredith Paris, and nephews, Lucas Nash, David Nash, and Rusty Nash. She was also adored by her numerous great nieces and nephews, all of whom were touched by her kindness and unwavering support. Her family and friends will forever remember Dianne for her infectious enthusiasm and the unwavering love she bestowed upon them. Her legacy of compassion and determination will continue to inspire and guide those she left behind. As we gather to celebrate Dianne's remarkable life, we are reminded of the profound impact she had on everyone she met. Her presence will be dearly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Dianne's memory to the community organizations she held dear, ensuring that her legacy of love and kindness continues to make a difference. A service to honor Dianne's life will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Monroe, with details to be announced. We invite all who knew and loved Dianne to join us in celebrating the life of a truly remarkable woman. Rest in peace, dear Dianne. You have left a beautiful mark on this world, and your memory will forever be cherished.
