She leaves behind a legacy of love in her surviving family: her brothers Johnnie Brooks Jr. (wife Berthoda), Ronnie Brooks (Meriam), Jerry Brooks, and Edward Brooks; a loving and caring niece who cared for her in while in Memphis, Cynthia DeBerry and nephews Bryant Brooks and Jerald Brooks. Dianne also leaves other nieces and nephews, Quania, Candace and Terrance Brooks and a host of other nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Each of them carries a piece of her spirit and grace, ensuring that her memory will endure through the generations. Dianne's life was one of quiet strength and unwavering faith. A long-time member of Greater St. Luke Baptist Church in Jackson, Tennessee, she was deeply rooted in her beliefs and the teachings of Jesus Christ, which guided her through life's journey. Her infectious smile could light up a room and spread warmth and joy to all around her. Dianne's wisdom, bestowed by God, was a guiding light in many situations, and she lived her life with a steadfast independence, always in control of her own decisions and life choices. Her passions were as vast as they were diverse. Dianne was an avid puzzle builder, known for her patience and meticulous nature as she pieced together large, intricate puzzles. She had a profound love for music, her tastes spanning the soulful tunes of R&B to the vibrant beats of Pop and Gospel. Her heart danced to the rhythms of "Soul Train," and her laughter echoed through the halls as she watched timeless television sitcoms like "I Love Lucy," "Leave It To Beaver," "Good Times," and "The Carol Burnett Show." These simple joys brought her endless delight and comfort.
